Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a junior or mid-level/senior Associate to join their Executive Compensation & Benefits Practice Group in Austin, Texas. The role may also be based in other major cities including Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate will have experience with public and private employers, particularly in start-ups, covering all aspects of executive compensation and benefits. This includes mergers and acquisitions, financings, IPOs, executive terminations and hires, stock compensation plans, nonqualified deferred compensation, ERISA, group benefit plans, and public company reporting. Candidates should be energetic, possess excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Responsibilities will include conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and interacting directly with clients on sophisticated transactions. A Bachelor's degree, JD, or equivalent, and LLM students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
