FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS NATIONAL SECURITY ASSOCIATE (1225)

Description

Our client is seeking a mid- or senior-level associate with experience in Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations to join their expanding regulatory practice. The successful candidate will work with innovative companies in the regulated telecommunications sector, covering a wide range of issues from classic FCC regulation to trade and security concerns. The role involves representing new space companies, service providers, device makers, investors, and others on business and regulatory issues in the purchase and sale of FCC-regulated properties, as well as on critical FCC proceedings affecting their businesses. Candidates should have experience advising commercial space companies before the FCC, as well as with telecommunications regulatory work more broadly. An interest in national security matters, including but not limited to Team Telecom, CFIUS, anti-money laundering, sanctions, export controls, government contracts, and/or international trade is also required. The preferred location is Washington DC, but other locations may be considered for exceptional candidates.
