The role involves representing private credit lenders and borrowers in various financial transactions, including leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings. Key responsibilities include drafting and preparing loan and collateral documents, conducting comprehensive legal searches, and managing the closing process by organizing and compiling necessary documents. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor and a license to practice law in Massachusetts, with at least one year of experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and effectively communicating complex legal concepts.
