FINANCE ASSOCIATE REAL ESTATE (3726)
Description
Our client is seeking a midlevel associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join their Real Estate Finance Group in either Washington, D.C., or Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing lenders, borrowers, and/or government-sponsored enterprises in commercial loan transactions, with skills in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating loan documents, as well as managing legal due diligence and closing complex real estate transactions. Experience with multifamily lenders or syndicated credit facilities is advantageous. Candidates should have experience with loans secured by multifamily housing, seniors housing, affordable housing, manufactured housing, and/or hotels, and be adept at training and managing junior associates and paralegals. A juris doctorate from an accredited law school and admission to the relevant jurisdiction’s bar are required, along with excellent communication skills and a strong academic record.
