Description
Our client is seeking an associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in banking and financial institutions regulatory matters and/or securities law, including M&A, to join their Financial Institutions Team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in federal securities law, securities offerings, and the ability to advise clients on federal securities law and bank regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include supporting attorneys on various deals, drafting SEC reports, and M&A transaction documents for both public and private clients, and understanding corporate governance principles for public companies and the banking industry. Applicants should possess superior academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and proven client relationship abilities. The position is based in Washington, D.C., with a preference for candidates admitted to the DC bar.
