Description
Our client seeks a highly qualified associate with 3-4 years of top-tier law firm experience to join their Financial Restructuring Group in New York City. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in both out-of-court and in-court restructurings, including drafting plans, disclosure statements, plan support agreements, involvement in 363 sales, and analysis and drafting of intercreditor and subordination agreements. Additional responsibilities include participating in litigation of claw back actions and analyzing leases, executory contracts, and intellectual property licenses. A broad understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and a solid grasp of Article 9 secured transactions are essential. Candidates should possess outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, excellent research skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
