Description
Our client, a prestigious legal firm based in Denver, is seeking an Associate to join their Financial Services group. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 6 years of experience in representing financial institutions, non-bank lenders, private equity funds, and portfolio companies in various financing transactions. These include acquisition financings, asset-based and cash flow lending, subordinated debt, and mezzanine and structured credit transactions. Experience in borrower/sponsor-backed financing and representing private equity and hedge funds in alternative investments and debt capital markets will be advantageous. The role will involve working with global private investment funds, family offices, and financial institutions. The successful candidate should be a self-starter, with excellent drafting skills, and the ability to interface directly with clients and opposing counsel. The role requires a strong academic background and significant law firm experience in sophisticated transactional matters. Admission to the Colorado Bar or the ability to waive in is preferred.
