Description
Our client is seeking a mid-level associate with 3 to 5 years of experience or a senior-level associate to join their Financial Services Regulatory practice. The ideal candidate will have experience with consumer financial laws and regulations, including Federal laws related to non-mortgage credit (e.g., EFTA, FCRA, FDCPA, GLBA, MLA, SCRA, TILA, and UDAAP) and state regulatory regimes for non-mortgage consumer and small business credit. Strong writing skills and experience drafting for various audiences are essential. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction, preferably where our client has an office. The position is available in Charlotte, DC, Chicago, New York, or the SF Bay Area. Experience with asset classes such as unsecured consumer loans, student loans, credit cards, and small business loans is preferred.
