Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm with a strong presence in the financial services sector, is seeking an associate with at least two years of experience to join their Financial Services Group in Washington, D.C. The role involves a blend of law enforcement investigations, regulatory compliance counseling, and transactional work across payments and fintech, consumer and commercial lending, and bank regulatory sectors. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple workstreams and have experience with consumer and business financial services laws at both federal and state levels. Additional qualifications include experience representing clients before entities like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and state regulatory agencies. This position requires analytical thinking, excellent academic credentials, strong writing abilities, and a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Candidates must also be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar.
