Description
Our client is seeking an associate with over 3 years of experience in payments and banking law, focusing on regulatory compliance, to join their Fintech and Financial Services team. The role involves representing financial technology pioneers and working exclusively in fintech and financial services, supporting startups and founder-led companies from pre-formation to capital markets. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling companies with payments-, banking-, or credit-related products, reviewing contracts, and supporting corporate deals, including risk assessment and regulatory compliance counseling. Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, commitment to client service, and good business judgment are essential. The position is based in New York or Washington DC, with a hybrid work schedule requiring office presence at least two days a week.
