Description
Our client is seeking an Associate for their Corporate and Private Equity Department in the Los Angeles - Century City area. The department is comprised of over 70 attorneys specializing in private equity transactions such as leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, "going private" transactions, and acquisitions of distressed companies. The team also represents general partners and major limited partners in forming private equity, venture capital, mezzanine, and real estate funds. The firm is recognized among the top corporate law firms globally and emphasizes diversity and inclusion in its recruitment and promotion practices. Ideal candidates will have 3-4 years of experience in a large law firm setting, focusing on representing private fund sponsors and institutional investors in complex fund formation matters. The role involves engagement in all aspects of fund formation, structuring, capital raising, compliance, and management of alternative investment funds.
