Our client is seeking an Associate for their Corporate and Private Equity Department in Charlotte. This department, comprising over 70 attorneys, specializes in a wide range of private equity transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, and investments in distressed companies. The team also represents general and limited partners in forming private equity, venture capital, mezzanine, and real estate funds. The firm is recognized among the top corporate law firms globally and emphasizes diversity and inclusion in its operations. Ideal candidates will have 3-4 years of experience in a large law firm setting, focusing on complex fund formation for private fund sponsors and institutional investors. The role involves comprehensive involvement in the formation, structuring, capital raising, compliance, and management of various alternative investment funds.
