Description
Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking an associate with 4 - 6 years of significant experience in private equity fund formation and related matters. The ideal candidate should have experience, preferably in a large law firm or in-house setting, in assisting private equity fund sponsors on fund formation matters, including the preparation and negotiation of fund private placement memoranda, partnership agreements, and related ancillary agreements. The candidate should have familiarity with relevant securities rules and regulations, including the Investment Advisers Act. Experience with private equity "secondary" transactions would be beneficial. All candidates must be admitted to the state bar of their office location.
