Description
Our client is seeking a Global Equity Compensation and Employment Career Associate to join their Global Employment, Equity Compensation, and Immigration practice. The position is open to candidates based in New York or any California office, with flexibility to work from any of the client's office locations. The role involves advising multinational and emerging company employers on equity compensation and employment issues, including compliance for stock option, restricted stock unit, and employee stock purchase plan programs, as well as handling securities and foreign exchange filings. Responsibilities also include managing leaves of absence, accommodations, return to office protocols, and independent contractor classifications. The successful candidate will prepare multi-country analyses, draft employment-related documents, manage global teams, and conduct multijurisdictional research. The focus will be on fast-growing technology companies, with involvement in employment agreements, handbooks, bonus plans, and global M&A transactions.
