GLOBAL TRADE ASSOCIATE (1838)

Description

Our client seeks a highly qualified Junior or Mid-Level Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join their Global Trade practice. The candidate should have experience counseling clients, ideally in the technology, life sciences, and private equity industries, on a broad range of U.S. regulatory issues involving international trade and investment. This includes exports of controlled goods and services, cross-border investments, defense articles and services, and transactions involving sanctioned countries, persons, and entities. The ideal candidate will have experience with economic sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Candidates should possess outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
