GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS ASSOCIATE (1338)

Description

Our client, an international law firm with a global presence, is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join their Government Contracts practice group. This role will focus on the cost accounting advisory and litigation area of the practice. The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years of direct experience handling government contract cost accounting and pricing matters, including compliance with FAR Part 31 and Cost Accounting Standards, pre-COFD dispute resolution of cost accounting matters, and representation of contractors in appeals involving cost accounting disputes. Additional experience in providing advice and assistance with requests for equitable adjustment/contractor claims, and compliance with the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act is preferred. The candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, highly developed critical thinking and analytical skills, strong written advocacy and oral communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
