GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS ASSOCIATE (2205)

Description

Our client is seeking an attorney with at least six years of experience to join their global Trade Controls practice within the Litigation group. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in government contracts compliance, including NISPOM, FAR/DFARS provisions, cost accounting standards, and SAM registration/renewal. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing strategies to mitigate compliance and regulatory risks, handling security clearance matters, and supporting transactional activities involving government contracts and security clearance issues. Experience with CFIUS matters and International Traffic in Arms Regulations is a plus. Outstanding academic credentials and law firm experience are preferred. The candidate should preferably reside in Washington, DC, but applicants from other cities where the client has offices will be considered. Candidates must be admitted to practice law and in good standing in the jurisdiction where they are hired.
