Description
Our client seeks a junior associate with government contracts and regulatory experience to join their growing Government Contracts practice group in Washington, DC. Ideal candidates, including law clerks from the Court of Federal Claims or military lawyers (i.e., JAGs), should have at least 1 year of relevant experience or a demonstrated interest in the industry. The team has significant expertise in government contracts law, representing contractors in defense, life sciences, construction, and healthcare industries in various legal forums. Responsibilities include compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), federal procurement law, and managing internal investigations related to procurement fraud and False Claims Act (FCA) allegations. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of insightful research and analysis, and persuasive writing abilities.
