Description
Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a full-time Associate for their Healthcare Department based in Denver. The candidate will be working with healthcare providers, organizations, private equity firms, and strategic buyers on various corporate, transactional, compliance, litigation, and regulatory issues. This role requires a significant focus on federal and state health care fraud, abuse, self-referral laws, corporate practice and fee-splitting prohibitions, licensure and certification of health care facilities, Medicare and Medicaid program participation requirements, health information privacy and security issues, along with planning, structuring, and executing health care transactions and business arrangements. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience representing various entities within the healthcare industry, with a focus on regulatory compliance, licensure, change of ownership, reimbursement, and operational matters. Experience advising on the regulatory aspects of transactional matters in the health care industry such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and contractual agreements is a plus. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, excellent writing capabilities, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be admitted, or be eligible for admission, to the Colorado Bar.
