Description
Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a Healthcare Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their Healthcare Regulatory Group. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in health regulatory law relevant to the healthcare and life sciences sectors, including areas such as fraud and abuse, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine, licensing, and reimbursement. The role involves regulatory diligence and structuring of corporate transactions, with exposure to counseling telehealth and digital health companies. Experience in healthcare transactions, particularly in private equity, M&A, and investment, is essential. Government experience at agencies like CMS, OCR, DOJ, or FDA is advantageous. Candidates must hold a JD from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice in DC, IL, or NY, and possess excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. The position is available in Washington, D.C., Chicago, or New York, with a preference for Washington, D.C.
