Description
Our client is seeking an associate with three to six years of experience in energy regulatory matters to join their FERC team, focusing on hydropower, in either Portland, OR or Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in federal and state energy and environmental statutes relevant to hydropower regulation, including the Federal Power Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, and National Historic Preservation Act. Strong writing, communication skills, and maturity are essential. Candidates must be a member in good standing in their state or eligible to waive in.
