Description
Our client, a renowned law firm, is seeking an Associate with 3 to 5 years of insurance coverage and commercial litigation experience. The successful candidate will be based in one of their offices located in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, or Washington D.C. The role requires an understanding of insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. Extensive civil litigation experience is also required, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, discovery and discovery motion practice, depositions, and court appearances. Experience with business development, client management, and independent case management is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, superior research and writing ability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This team is recognized for representing insurers on complex claims and high-exposure coverage and reinsurance issues.
