INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ASSOCIATE (2131)
Description
Our client is seeking a highly qualified 2nd or 3rd year associate to join their Intellectual Property group, which focuses primarily on life sciences and biotechnology. This role involves working with fast-growing clients in areas such as pharmaceutical small molecule products, biologicals, gene therapy therapeutics, and medical devices. Responsibilities include patent drafting, prosecution, opinions, and strategic agreements, aimed at creating strategic IP assets that support corporate value and facilitate transactions. Candidates must be USPTO admitted or eligible to sit for the exam, and possess a BS or PhD in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, immunology, organic chemistry, or protein engineering. A background in biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies is a plus. Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
