INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LITIGATION ASSOCIATE (1210)
Description
Our client is seeking an Associate for their Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation – Life Sciences practice group. The successful candidate will work under the general supervision of partners and counsel, providing sophisticated legal advice to clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and other life sciences sectors globally. The role involves tackling complex IP disputes, including patent, trademark, and copyright litigation, as well as Section 337 investigations. The candidate will also draft specialized legal documents, advise on legal systems and business practices, consult with clients, research and draft legal memoranda and pleadings, and represent clients before various agencies and courts. The position requires a Juris Doctor of Law and a Bachelor's or higher degree in Biotechnology or another natural science field, along with at least one month of experience in a similar role or as a Patent Prosecution & Trademarks Intern. Candidates should have a background in U.S. Patent Law and Intellectual Property (IP) Law, exposure to substantive patent law cases, and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
