Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join their International Arbitration Practice Group in Washington, DC. This group is recognized globally for its expertise, with accolades from Chambers USA, Chambers Global, The Legal 500, and other prestigious publications. The team comprises lawyers from diverse legal backgrounds, many with significant experience in Washington, DC, and multilateral policy matters, having served in various US government departments and international organizations. The role involves representing clients in investor-state and commercial arbitrations under various arbitral rules, including ICSID, UNCITRAL, and ICC. Candidates must have experience in international arbitrations, particularly those arising out of Latin America, and should be adept at drafting pleadings, assisting with hearings, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing civil law sources. Excellent academic credentials and references are required, and applicants must be licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
