Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a highly qualified associate to join their tax practice within their corporate practice group. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience in transactional tax work, including cross-border planning and implementation. The role involves advising corporations, partnerships, LLCs, joint ventures, investment funds, high net worth individuals, and their closely-held businesses on various tax matters. These include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, transfer pricing, tax minimization strategies, estate and trust planning, and pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning. The role also includes providing family office, private equity, and real estate transactional and fund formation advice. Outstanding writing and analytical skills, excellent academic credentials, and a commitment to excellence are required. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, and fluency in other languages is a plus. Candidates must be bar certified in their jurisdiction of practice. A hybrid work environment is available.
