INTERNATIONAL TRADE ASSOCIATE (1312)
Description
Our client is seeking an associate with three to five years of experience to support their International Trade practice. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in customs and import controls laws. Experience in advising and counseling on customs and import controls matters, related project management, and service in the federal government is preferred. Knowledge in laws and policies governing tariff classification, valuation and transfer pricing, audits, forced labor compliance, customs enforcement, free trade agreements, fraud and penalty investigations, binding rulings, customs litigation, customs legislation, and/or drawback is essential. The candidate must be future-focused, diversity-minded, dedicated to excellence, service-oriented, and collaborative. Stellar academic credentials and private sector and/or government experience in customs and import controls laws are required.
