INTERNATIONAL TRADE ASSOCIATE (2841)
Description
Our client seeks an associate with a minimum of two years of experience to support the sanctions and export controls sections of their International Trade practice. Required experience includes U.S. sanctions, U.S. export controls, and investigations, specifically EAR and ITAR. Preferred experience includes trade remedies, trade policy, customs, and other international trade control laws. Candidates must exhibit core values such as being future-focused, diversity-minded, dedicated to excellence, service-oriented, and collaborative. Stellar academic credentials are required, with private sector and/or government experience preferred. Responsibilities include advising on complex export and re-export laws, conducting compliance audits, and developing mitigating strategies. Due to ITAR/EAR compliance, only U.S. persons physically located in the U.S. will be considered.
