Description
Our client is seeking an associate with one to three years of experience to join their International Trade group, focusing on export controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in U.S. export controls and national security-related trade controls, with additional experience in U.S. sanctions, trade remedies, trade policy, or customs being advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate core values such as being future-focused, diversity-minded, dedicated to excellence, service-oriented, and collaborative. Stellar academic credentials from a top-tier college and law school, along with top-tier law firm experience, are required. While Chinese language skills are a plus, they are not mandatory. The role involves advising on complex U.S. export and re-export laws and regulations, conducting compliance audits, and developing strategies for mitigating potential violations. Due to ITAR/EAR compliance requirements, only U.S. persons, as defined by relevant regulations, will be considered, and they must be physically located in the United States.
