Description
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate, Counsel, or Senior Counsel to join their Regulations, Investigations, Securities, and Compliance team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in U.S. export controls (BIS), sanctions (OFAC), customs (including tariffs), and other international trade-related regulations. Responsibilities include counseling, training, licensing, opinion work, filings, compliance audits, internal investigations, responding to government enforcement actions, and developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, and candidates must be active members of the DC Bar or willing to apply within 90 days. Additional experience with FCPA investigations and national security matters (CFIUS) is preferred.
