Description
Our client is seeking an Associate to join their Investment Management Practice Group in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington D.C. Candidates must specify their preferred office in the cover letter. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related regulations. Experience in representing registered investment companies, private funds, and investment advisers, including the preparation and review of registration statements, offering documents, board meeting materials, and investment management agreements, is essential. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving attitude, intrinsic motivation, and strong academic credentials are required. Large law firm experience is preferred but not mandatory. This hybrid position generally requires two days in the office.
