INVESTMENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE (2848)
Description
Our client is seeking a corporate associate to join their Investment Services team in either Chicago or Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to work within a cohesive and collaborative team on a diverse and multidisciplinary practice, engaging closely with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities. Ideal candidates will have 1-4 years of corporate or securities law experience, particularly with registered investment companies, investment advisers, private funds, and regulatory compliance matters related to federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933. Transactional/mergers & acquisition experience involving investment companies is preferred. Candidates must hold a J.D. degree, have strong academic credentials, and be admitted (or in the process of becoming admitted) in Illinois or the District of Columbia.
