Description
Our client, a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100, is seeking an Intellectual Property (IP) associate with a strong technical background in chemical engineering. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating patent portfolios, and performing due diligence investigations. Candidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. Prior experience in a law firm is desirable. Excellent academic credentials, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and leadership abilities are essential. The position is based in Minneapolis, but candidates from other locations will also be considered.
