Description
Our client, a top firm on the Am Law Global 100, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their New Jersey team, which focuses on a broad range of intellectual property matters. This role involves supporting the IP Practice in the strategic development, procurement, and counseling of patent portfolios. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in drafting and prosecuting chemical-related patent applications, managing global patent portfolios, and preparing freedom-to-operate opinions. A degree or advanced degree in chemical engineering is preferred, though candidates with degrees in materials science, chemistry, or relevant experience will also be considered. Applicants must be in good standing with the New Jersey Bar or be admitted as soon as practicable. Strong academic credentials, client interaction skills, and excellent writing and analytical abilities are essential.
