LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE (0721)
Description
Our client is seeking an Associate based in Florida with 3 to 5 years of labor and employment defense experience. The role requires employment counseling and litigation experience before federal and state courts and government agencies, along with excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in counseling employers regarding labor and employment law issues, conducting witness interviews and investigations, drafting position statements, preparing employee handbooks and policies, drafting employment agreements and separation agreements, and managing employment-related litigation. The location for this role is flexible within Florida, with a preference for Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, or West Palm Beach. The position can generally be performed remotely, but occasional office visits for team-building events will be required. Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and be a member of The Florida Bar.
