LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT CLASS ACTION ASSOCIATE (3001)
Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated mid to senior level associate to join its dynamic Labor and Employment group to support its California practice. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of substantive experience in employment litigation with a strong interest in trial work. Experience in defending wage and hour claims, including class action lawsuits, and transactional employment work such as drafting employment and severance agreements, EEOC position statements, and DFEH responses is desired. A background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting with employment training programs is advantageous. Experience in traditional management labor relations is also beneficial. Candidates must have superior academic and writing credentials and be admitted to the California bar.
