Description
Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking an attorney with 3-4 years of labor & employment experience for their offices in a major Californian city. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive experience in labor & employment issues, including defense of claims before state and federal courts, union management relations, reductions in force, employment contracts negotiations, policies and employee benefits programs, and counseling human resource managers on employee matters and compliance issues. A thorough understanding of California and federal employment statutes and regulations is required. Experience in labor & employment class action and PAGA is a plus. Candidates must be admitted to the California bar, possess immediate transferable skills, and have a strong academic background with excellent writing skills.
