Description
Our client, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm based in New York, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice. The ideal candidate should be admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey and possess three to five years of experience in employment law, with a strong background in employment litigation, preferably on the management side. Experience in employment counseling or in-house employment law is also preferred. This role involves significant client interaction, as well as dealings with governmental agencies and opposing counsel, requiring a candidate who is proactive, passionate, and prepared to handle a high-level role in all aspects of labor and employment law. The position demands strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and comfort with drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.
