Description
Our client, a prestigious full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in New Jersey and possess 3-5 years of experience in employment law, with a preference for those with employment litigation experience on the management side. Experience in employment counseling or in-house employment law is also preferred. This role involves significant client interaction, as well as engagement with governmental agencies and opposing counsel. Candidates should be adept at drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings, arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. Strong writing, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively.
