Description
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a talented and motivated mid-level associate with 2 to 5 years of experience to join their Labor & Employment Practice Group in New York. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to both counseling services and litigation efforts, with extensive client interaction and career growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of employment litigation, including claims for discrimination, retaliation, trade secret misappropriation, wage and hour violations, and other employment claims. Robust experience in counseling clients on a wide range of employment matters, such as employee discipline and termination, policy creation, wage and hour issues, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, internal investigations, and leave of absence issues is highly desirable. Experience managing the employment-related litigation process from discovery through trial, including drafting discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment, as well as familiarity with the deposition process and preparation, is required.
