Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated associate with 3-4 years of labor and employment litigation experience to join their nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in one of their California offices, including Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate will have expertise in California wage and hour class action litigation, PAGA claims, and single plaintiff employment litigation, along with experience in drafting employee handbooks and providing day-to-day advice and counseling. Strong legal writing skills, experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and drafting court filings are essential. Preferred candidates will have experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations. The role requires a team-oriented individual with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic, who has demonstrated client relationship and business development skills. Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing as an active member of the California Bar.
