LABOR EMPLOYMENT WORKPLACE SAFETY ASSOCIATE (2428)

Description

Our client is seeking a smart, imaginative, and hard-working associate to join their Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in a dynamic Portland office. The ideal candidate will have over six years of litigation experience on a wide range of employment issues, including wage & hour and single plaintiff discrimination/harassment matters. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing employment policies and documents, and working on labor and employment aspects of business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus but not required. Candidates must be licensed in Oregon or eligible for licensing in Oregon, with Washington and California (PAGA experience) licenses being advantageous. The role involves close collaboration with experienced lawyers, active mentoring, and opportunities for increased responsibility and client contact. Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality client service are essential.
