Description
Our client is seeking a smart, imaginative, and hard-working associate to join their Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in a dynamic Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience counseling employers, drafting and reviewing employment policies and documents, and advising on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour matters. Experience with labor and employment aspects of business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, is also required. Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers, receive active mentoring, and have opportunities for increasing responsibility and client contact. Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality client service are essential.
