Our client, a prominent law firm based in Phoenix, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of experience for their Labor & Employment Group. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to taking ownership of responsibilities. Significant litigation experience, including handling cases day-to-day, is highly desirable. This role involves heavy litigation duties rather than consulting tasks, and includes responsibilities such as taking depositions, covering hearings, interviewing witnesses, managing written discovery, and drafting persuasive briefs. Applicants should have a solid understanding of employment laws including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and other federal and state regulations. The position requires excellent academic credentials, strong references, and membership in the Arizona State Bar or the ability to quickly obtain such membership.
