The candidate must have a JD from an accredited law school, be admitted to practice in California, and possess 8+ years of defense litigation experience, particularly in medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, or similar healthcare cases. Key responsibilities include managing a litigation caseload independently, collaborating with other attorneys and partners, handling court appearances and depositions, and maintaining client communications. Superior written and oral communication skills are essential, and legal project management experience is advantageous.
