Description
Our client is looking for a mid-level associate (2020-2021) to be part of their Life Sciences Regulatory & Compliance Practice. The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic, fun, and collaborative environment, with experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and diagnostic industries. They must have experience managing junior attorneys and have provided regulatory and compliance support in connection with corporate transactions or capital markets matters previously. Familiarity with CLIA and/or HIPAA would be a plus. The role will involve providing day-to-day support on FDA compliance matters, regulatory counseling, and due diligence reviews of FDA-regulated M&A targets, IPO candidates, potential collaborators, and licensees, primarily in the drug, biologic, medical device, and diagnostic areas. Candidates should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience or experience working at the FDA, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to learn from experienced senior lawyers. They must be a member of the California Bar or have the ability to waive-in to the California Bar.
