LITIGATION AND COVERAGE ASSOCIATE (0348)

Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with insurance coverage experience. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated, seasoned attorney looking to further their career in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a litigation background with premises and habitability claims, construction claims, and defect litigation experience. The role also involves writing coverage opinions and acting as monitoring counsel. Candidates with a subset of these skills, along with an interest and willingness to learn other areas, are encouraged to apply. The firm is open to both traditional full-time roles and abbreviated work week schedules. Qualifications include a JD from an accredited law school, admission to practice in the state of California (admission in other states is a plus), and 3+ years’ experience advising carriers and litigating insurance coverage disputes. Familiarity with insurance company products for construction projects, excellent writing and research skills, and the ability to solve difficult insurance coverage problems are also required. Responsibilities include providing coverage opinions and related correspondence, litigating cases in Federal and State Court, and negotiating settlements of cases.
