Description
Our client, a well-established law firm, is actively seeking a mid-level associate with 3-5 years of business litigation experience to join their Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting internal investigations related to corporate compliance with government regulations and federal laws, defending corporate clients facing enforcement actions by regulatory bodies, and preparing witnesses for government interviews. Previous experience working for a regulatory body or U.S. Attorney's Office is a plus. The role also demands significant experience with complex business litigation in state and federal courts, including conducting complex discovery, data analysis, researching and drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and assisting in trial preparation. Management experience, particularly with junior associates and paralegals, is preferred. Candidates should have strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills and hold a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school. Being an active member of the Florida Bar is a requirement.
