Description
Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their dynamic team in Richmond. This role offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to be part of a growing location. The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team of attorneys who represent companies in courtrooms across the country, primarily in products liability defense, mass torts, and class actions. Candidates should have at least three years of litigation experience on the defense side, with some experience in drafting and arguing discovery motions, taking and defending depositions, responding to discovery, and participating in overall case work-up. Practice in the areas of products liability, personal injury, insurance defense, or commercial litigation is a plus. Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, strong academic credentials, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently are required. Candidates must be admitted to and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar. Our client has a strong foundation of community service and good citizenship, with opportunities to participate in various pro bono and community service initiatives.
