Description
Our client seeks an associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their Litigation & Government Enforcement Practice Group in Chicago. The role involves supporting commercial litigation and government enforcement practices, with a preference for candidates knowledgeable in complex business disputes, class action defense, and mass torts. Experience in compliance matters, including anticorruption and trade-related issues, and conducting cross-border investigations is highly valued. The ideal candidate should have deposition and courtroom experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills. Prior experience in case management, drafting pleadings, discovery, arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions is required. Large law firm experience and a former clerkship with a federal district judge or circuit court are strongly preferred. Candidates must be admitted to and in good standing with the Illinois bar.
